Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Van Binh – Party Secretary, Chairman of the Academy Council – provided an overview of the Academy of Finance and its significant achievements. With 62 years of history, the Academy is a leading institution in undergraduate, postgraduate, and scientific research training in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, and technology in Vietnam. It not only plays a key role in training high-quality personnel for the financial sector but also serves as a research partner and policy advisor for the country, contributing to Vietnam’s economic and financial development.

The Academy continuously enhances faculty capacity, invests heavily in modern facilities, and applies advanced technology in teaching to meet the country’s development demands in the digital era and international integration. It actively strengthens international cooperation through partnership agreements, joint training programs, and student exchanges with universities, professional associations, and enterprises worldwide. As a result, students of the Academy have numerous opportunities to access prestigious professional certifications and gain international experience.

Dr. Nguyen Van Binh emphasized the significance of the cooperation agreement with ACU, describing it as a breakthrough that opens doors for Academy of Finance students to access Australia’s advanced education system. It helps learners refine their professional knowledge, develop global thinking, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility, preparing them with a solid foundation to become global citizens who can meet the increasingly high demands of the international labor market.

Also speaking at the event, Mr. Christopher Motley expressed his honor in attending the signing ceremony between ACU and the Academy of Finance. This relationship has been elevated to a strategic partnership—one of only 12 such partnerships worldwide for Australia. Education remains a key pillar of this partnership, with Australian government-sponsored scholarships and training programs with Vietnam continuing to be developed and implemented.

Through the partnership between these two prestigious institutions, students of the Academy of Finance gain access to education that meets international standards. This agreement marks the beginning of further collaboration between AOF and ACU.

He highlighted the significant role of higher education institutions, their vision, and their influence on community and societal development.

University education must align with the demands of the era of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, ensuring that it produces human resources with high adaptability.

At the event, the delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between representatives of the Academy of Finance and Australian Catholic University.

This significant event marks an important milestone in AOF’s journey toward international educational integration, opening up opportunities for collaboration in training, scientific research, and academic exchanges with one of Australia’s leading universities.
